报告摘要：This talk is concerned with the periodic solutions of nonlinear wave equation with x-dependent coefficients. Such a model arises from the forced vibrations of an inhomogeneous string and the propagation of seismic waves in inhomogeneous media. We shall give some existence results on the periodic solutions of such a model with different types of nonlinearity.

报告人简介

冀书关，东北师范大学教授、博士生导师，国家优秀青年科学基金获得者，教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划入选者，吉林省有突出贡献的中青年专业技术人才和吉林省青年科技奖获得者。主要从事微分方程与动力系统研究，于《Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.》、《SIAM J. Appl. Math.》、《Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations》和《J. Differential Equations》等学术刊物发表论文40余篇，获得包括全国百篇优秀博士学位论文提名奖、吉林省科技进步一等奖和吉林省青年科技奖在内的多项奖励和荣誉。
