报 告：On coloring of (odd hole, theta, prism)-free graphs

摘要：A {\em hole} is an induced cycle of length at least 4, and an odd hole is a hole of odd length. A {\em theta} consists of a pair of nonadjacent vertices $x$ and $y$ and three $xy$-paths of which each pair form a hole, and a {\em prism} consists of two triangles $x_1y_1z_1$ and $x_2y_2z_2$ together with three paths joining $x_i$ and $y_i$ ($1\le i\le 3$) where each pair of these three paths form a hole. For a family ${\cal H}$ of graphs, we say that a graph is ${\cal H}$-free if it induces no member of ${\cal H}$. In this paper, we show that for every (odd hole, theta, prism)-free graph $G$, $\chi(G)\le 12\omega^2(G)$. This is a joint work with R. Wu and Y. Xu.

许宝刚，南京师范大学教授，博士生导师。1997年于山东大学获理学博士学位。1998年6月至2000年5月在中国科学院系统科学研究所做博士后研究，2000年6月至2002年2月在中科院系统科学研究所工作。主持完成博士后基金1项，国家自然科学基金6项，现主持国家自然科学基金1项。现担任中国运筹学会常务理事；中国数学会理事；中国运筹学会图论与组合分会常务理事，中国数学会组合数学与图论专业委员会副主任委员。
